Meet the Residents
In this gallery you will find a ‘snap shot’ of some of our residents. Some have been with us for many years and contributed much to the day-to-day life here at Pendine Park. Other newcomers have quickly settled in, it’s a tribute to our dedicated staff that they are so content here. | |||
Paul Trickett
Cae Bryn Paul has been at Cae Bryn for over 5 years. Before has came to Pendine Park he had his own group called ‘The Fanatics’ and was also part of a backing group for Marianne Faithful during the 60s. He still enjoys playing guitar and being involved in our award winning Music Therapy project with the Halle Orchestra. He also likes reading the daily newspaper, chatting and reminiscence about the 60s. He also says he like the food choices! |

Alan Hassall
Bryn Bella Alan came to us for respite for 4 years, before coming to live at Bryn Bella in 2011. He was a systems support analyst for Tesco and Kwik Save and now likes to keep busy by being involved in the many activities on offer. He particularly likes art therapy, crafts, making models, bingo, walking and outings. He thinks staff are friendly and helpful and says his wife always feels welcome when she visits. He enjoys chatting with his wife about home and that she cuts his hair every 4 weeks. And she enjoys being involved in the relatives support group. |

Lindsey Sian Wright
Penybryn Lindsey has lived at Penybryn since 2010. She is sociable and likes to join in with disco sessions. She joined art classes to socialise and also enjoys working in clay during one to one sessions with Sarah Edwards our resident artist. She has a great variety of music to listen and sing along to and also enjoys music therapy with the Halle orchestra. She like going out for lunch with her family and when the weather is nice she likes to get out into the gardens and enjoy the fresh air. |

Patrick Butler
Bryn Bella Patrick has lived at Bryn Bella since 2007. He has 5 children, 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and his wife visits every day so he is glad that visitors are always welcome! He enjoys quizs, reading the paper and watching TV, especially cowboy films. He loves breakfast, but meals are not always 'spicy' enough for him as he is a real spicy food fan. So curry night's perfect for him. |
